Reworked Chair #1
This gorgeous one of a kind chair has been reworked and reupholstered in our 1/10 print.
This chair's frame was restored, resprung and given some much needed attention, this gem is ready for its next adventure.
The statement hand carved back detail makes this chair extra special, but it also has a lot to say. 1/10 people will be displaced by 2050. This print showcases 10 individuals that have lived experience of displacement and are friends of The Worldwide Tribe podcast. Every 10th portrait is highlighted so you can visually see the impact and how many people will be affected. The orange trim accentuates the colours within the print - who doesn't love a pink and orange combo.
This chair is a statement piece and would enhance any room, we recommend light use (more decorative) and not for everyday wear. We envision this chair in a bedroom with dressing gowns draped over the back.
48cm wide x 40cm deep x 87cm high.

This piece is from our Gung Ho Reworked collection, where we buy damaged vintage pieces from antiques markets, combining offcuts and fabric from products sent back to us at the end of their lifetime to give these pieces a new lease of life. If you have any Gung Ho items that are damaged or you don't wear anymore, please send them back to us (for free) in exchange for 10% of what you paid for it originally. Isn't it about time brands thought about their products throughout their whole lifespan? We think so. Learn more about the project here.
